LOCAL RESILIENCE
True resilience is not top-down, but bottom-up. It arises in small, self-reliant communities that know their land, trust their neighbors, and can feed, power, and govern themselves even as global systems stutter and seize. This is not mere nostalgia; it is systems thinking in action. A resilient society is a nested one, composed of resilient localities, each an ecosystem of its own, dynamically interdependent with others but not wholly dependent.
